Spinal Stenosis

Spinal Stenosis is the narrowing of the bone channel occupied by the spinal nerves or the spinal cord. Cervical spinal stenosis ismore rare and more dangerous than lumbar spinal stenosis.
Spinal stenosis occurs in two sections of the spine, cervical and lumbar. The reason why these two sections are diagnosed more than in the middle of the back is because the cervical and lumbar area tend to move, bend more than the middle area of the back which provides more stability and support. Spinal stenosis is more symptomatic in the cervical and lumbar sections of the spine.

- Weakness in hand, arm foot, or leg
- Problems with walking and balance
- Neck pain
